How we verify web hosting deals
We verify each web hosting deal at the hosting company's live checkout, once a week. A price appears on this site only after we have seen it on the checkout screen ourselves.
What are the steps of a deal check?
- We open the hosting company's own website and go to the checkout.
- We add the plan and choose the period: 12, 24 or 48 months.
- We apply the deal. If the deal needs a coupon code, we enter the code.
- We write down the price per month, the total to pay today and the renewal price.
- We take a screenshot of the checkout.
- We record the date of the check next to the deal.
How often is a deal checked?
Each deal is checked once a week. The date of the last check is printed on every deal card and at the top of every deal page.
What happens when a deal fails the check?
The deal is marked as expired on the same day. It moves out of the list of working deals. We do not leave a failed code on a page as if it still worked.
Where does the discount percentage come from?
The discount percentage is the figure shown at the checkout on the day of our check. We do not copy a percentage from an advert or from another coupon site.
Why do you record the price every week?
A weekly record shows how the price of a plan moves over time. It lets you see if a sale price is lower than the price of the weeks before it.
